Halcyon London International School opened its doors to students for the first time on 2 September 2013. This September, 2023, our School will be 10 years old – a significant milestone for everyone in the Halcyon community.
Through the school year 2023/24 we will celebrate our success together: our exceptional IB education; our innovative, student-centred, wellbeing programme; and our focus on innovation in learning.
We are the only not-for-profit IB school in central London. Students enjoy academic success because they feel valued, confident and secure.
Early on in the discussions that were to become Halcyon, co-founders Achim, Julie, Pamela and I were inspired by a number of overlapping visions of why we needed to create Halcyon.
As we reflect on our first ten years, I’d like to share with you what led me on this journey which, frankly, has become a life-defining achievement for me.
I hope it has been an equally life-affirming experience for those who have become involved with Halcyon; as student, staff, parent or otherwise.
