Meet the Students

Where potential meets opportunity

“My kids have blossomed at Halcyon…It’s like a lightbulb went on and they now have a thirst for knowledge and achievement.” – Current Parent

Our students are energetic, inspired, inquisitive, open-minded and thoughtful. They are excited to learn, get involved and are confident in themselves and their goals.

Halcyon students make full use our central London location. They visit Hyde Park, explore art galleries and museums, attend lectures and theatre performances and use the nearby leisure centre for our sports curriculum and clubs. Halcyon students are confident travellers on London’s public transport system. We encourage our students to be sustainably-minded, informed, cosmopolitan citizens.

Could you be a Halcyonite in the making?

Admissions Information

Our students are passionate activists and are involved in so many aspects of the school and wider community.

As part of a requirement for the IB Curriculum, or students spend many hours in the service of the community, from working with and supporting local charities, to developing their own personal skills for charitable use.

We have a blossoming and active elected Student Council. They are involved in school-wide decisions from curriculum changes to the staff recruitment process.

They represent student voice.

Halcyon students

have come to us from…

We build strong relationships with families, education consultants, relocation consultants and local schools enabling them to better understand Halcyon and our unique approach to IB education. This enables them to make informed decisions when considering secondary schools for their children and also helps us to provide a smoother transition for students coming to Halcyon as we better understand their prior culture and environment.
