I come to Halcyon School from Ross, California where I was the 5th to 8th Grade Principal and Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment. Prior to this, I served as both Principal and Classroom Teacher in primary grades. In my most recent role, I most enjoyed my interactions with students and seeing their growth over the years. I strongly believe in providing students with the opportunity to give input and influence their educational experience is vital to creating a positive school experience.

I join Halcyon School in the role of Learning Systems Coordinator. I was drawn to Halcyon School as I want to continue working with innovative technology and structures in education. I equally value the role that social skills, including collaboration and communication, has in preparing students for their futures. I will be working to maximize student learning experiences through scheduling, creating structures, organizing student experiences and analysing data.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy time with my family. I am new to London, so I am eager to explore the city and our surrounding area. I look forward to getting to know students, families and the greater Halcyon community.

  1. Stuart McWilliams

    Good morning Stacy,
My name is Stuart McWilliams and I am a newly appointed deputy head in King Fahad Academy, a fellow IB school.
I am hoping to meet with other professionals who I can have informal discussions with to promote my knowledge of the IB programmes in action as well as the more managerial side of things such as pupil monitoring and tracking.
Please contact me if this is something that we could arrange in the near future.
    Kind regards,
    Stuart McWilliams

    Hi Stacy,

I am a library media-specialist at an IB school in Chattanooga, Tennessee. If everything goes according to plan, I will be in London June 6th and 7th with a colleague to complete a grant project. We would love to visit your school while we are there. We would like to meet with some of your educators to discuss what students are working on and how the library is integrated into the curriculum. We would also like to explore ways we might connect our teachers and students.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
