Eleven Halcyon students took part in a carol concert at Forrester Court Residential Care Home in Paddington.
In the build up to the event Claire in Grade 11 held singing practice sessions. The carolling was a fantastic experience for everyone involved.
Two highlights from the evening were bringing back the memories of a former music instructor with dementia and enticing one woman who hadn’t got out of bed for a long time to come to the lounge and listen to the music. Students also handed out Christmas cards and cookies made by students in the GIN Seeds of Growth exploration.
