My style of teaching encompasses inquiry-based learning approaches where students are able to contextualise their learning. I encourage students to explore contemporary case studies and find solutions whilst being internationally minded. Additionally, I want to inspire more young women to pursue careers in Science.
I was born in Switzerland and grew up in Ontario, Canada. As an avid traveller, I have visited and studied across the globe.
I completed a Bachelor of Science specialising in Kinesiology at Dalhousie University in Canada and a Graduate Diploma in Education at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Australia. I have taught biology, general science, mathematics, sports, exercise and health science and physical education in Australia and Dubai. These subjects have been delivered across the secondary range (IBMYP, IBDP, IGCSE and Queensland curriculum). My interests extend beyond the science lab; I have been the Service & Action and Personal Project Coordinators and Head of House at my previous schools.
