I believe that a concept-based education can help students understand the complexity of the world.
Originally from the UK, I have taught IBMYP Humanities and IBDP Geography at Mercedes-Benz International School in India since 2008-2016, and have been Head of Humanities 2010-2016. I immersed myself in Indian culture, travelled much of Asia, and I believe that in today’s changing world every “Westerner” should live for some time in the “‘East”.
I studied BA Geography at Southampton University, completed a PGCE at Portsmouth University, and taught in the south of England before moving to India. An IB enthusiast, I am currently completing an MA in Education and IB advanced certificate in teaching and learning research at UCL Institute of Education.
Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Geography from University of Portsmouth (UK)
Bachelor of Arts in Geography from University of Southampton (UK).
