Two Halcyon students organised for Bella Tristram from Child-to-Child to present at this week’s assembly about the charity’s inspiring work. They have a number of projects all over the world which support their premise that “when children work together they can change their world”.

Child-to-Child go into areas where young people need a variety of support – one example being forming small teams of students to support a blind student so s/he can have assistance at home to get ready for school, get to school and support them in the classroom.

Having young people see how they can positively affect other people’s lives helps develop their leadership skills, improve their self-confidence and develop other useful skills while they help others do the same.
