Celebrating all things Japanese

Grade 8 planned and created a “Japanese Day” for the Halcyon community.

The enthusiastic students made decorations and prepared culinary delights including miso soup; noodles and tofu; veggie bao; wakame and cucumber salad; coconut and mango bubble tea; green tea mochi with ice cream; and popping candy.

This activity is a great example of Halcyon at its best – encouraging students to learn together through planning, collaborating and creating.
