Anthony Gow, Visual Arts & Design Teacher, Designated Safeguarding Lead

Anthony joins us from the International School of Brussels where he served as Head of Department for Visual Arts in the High School. He has over 22 years’ experience in Art Education and has taught in schools and universities in Australia, Cambodia, Sudan, Jordan and Belgium. Anthony has also been a freelance photographer and journalist for the arts and culture magazine, “I-Jordan”.

He is a practicing artist and has exhibited sculpture, painting and printmaking with two public commissions in Australia. He has a keen interest in continental philosophy, curriculum design and is passionate about how students learn through the Arts. Anthony contributed conceptual work towards developing assessment descriptors and curriculum design at the International School of Brussels for the Creative Arts.

Anthony is looking forward to the rich artistic culture of London and being part of the dynamic learning environment at Halcyon.
